The female was the hole package it didn't matter if was hot or cold she would get out that and jump a rabbit and run it as long as it was on the ground. Wynd was a super jump dog in the morning, afternoon, evening it didn't matter. she was medium speed and a hunting drive like no other dog I have ever owned or hunted with or saw running. She was a dog that you didn't tell to go in the thick cover she just when and work up a rabbit. Other dogs may run faster than her but if they lost it she would come in find the rabbit track and straight them out. I have races from this dog that lasted from one hour to three hours. She was the best to hunt young dogs with because when she left the kennel she was ready to go with one goal to bounce a rabbit and drive it until it when to the hole or you killed it. Wynd was a 13" beagle with a good bark and a toughness that was unmatched by no other dog. Wynd died at the age of 3yrs and 5 months this female lived the last 15 days of her life with he vets that took care of her but in the end she had to be put down. At the time of her death I had a list of 17 people ready to pay in addvance for a pup from her. On christmas eve I turned down a 1000.00 offer from a man that want it to buy her five months later she died.
